To use pouch mail, write a letter on one piece of printer paper (only one side). Fold the paper in thirds, and seal it with two pieces of tape at the bottom at least one inch from each end. Do not put it in an envelope. Then write my address in the center and your return address in the top left corner. Add a first class postage stamp to the top right corner and you're set! No international stamp needed. 

Additionally, dearelder.com is a good option. Choose "Write a Letter," then Uruguay Montevideo West Mission. You can type out a letter and they will send it to me for free.
